You do not need to be a journalist to submit information.
If you believe something matters to Manchester or Coffee County, send it to us.

When submitting a story or tip, provide as much information as possible.
Helpful information may include:
- Your name and contact information
- What happened
- Where it happened
- When it happened
- Who was involved
- Why you believe the story is important
- Relevant documents
- Photographs or video
- Links to public records or other supporting information

The Manchester Guardian will consider requests for confidentiality; however, submitting information does not automatically establish a confidential-source relationship.

Submitting information does not guarantee publication.
The Manchester Guardian may independently verify information, review available documentation, contact relevant individuals or agencies, and seek additional perspectives before publishing a story.
We will not knowingly publish rumors or unverified allegations as fact.

Whenever possible, include documentation supporting your submission.
Public records, meeting documents, photographs, videos, emails, official correspondence, and other primary-source materials can help us independently evaluate a story.
